Moon’s position:        10 degrees Taurus (The Bull)

The energy of Taurus shines down upon us on the earth and the moon is hidden in the Sun’s brightness and also dwells in the same place as the sun: Taurus, the Bull.

Here we find the Logos “where Divinity becomes manifest.” This is an energy of vitality and physical force because the impulse that has emerged from the void, from the luminous emptiness, is emerging in material matter.
Physically the world (in the northern hemisphere) is bursting forth, creating flowers, leaves and sprouts.
In our own lives energetically we can surround our ideas with concrete actions and steps forward into making real these ideas.
Yet even more deeply we can become right within ourselves; I have a sense of the fresh start and how we might turn over a new leaf in our behaviors. We can harness the gifts of the sun to surround new impulses of personal behavior and take actions that we know are good for us. Physical forms are being built now and we can ride that current.

Health and well-being of the body are paramount to Taurus because this relates to the container into which we receive Spirit and we hold our own soul.

The Taurus new Moon is a good place to examine what we create with our thoughts and words in our immediate and extended environments. We are a vessel for consciousness – self reflective consciousness. We are an expression of Being that comes from the void. We have somehow mysteriously come into existence out of nowhere. And Taurus’s job is to build form within which our force can function. A container for how to meet our soul’s potential.

Even in these difficult times of stress and worry we can take responsibility for our own container and for how we are treating others’ around us. Are we building up and supporting or are we breaking things down? It is completely possible that both are appropriate in different situations; this is the work of personal discernment. But generally speaking, the star beings are echoing the quote about being the change that you want to see in the world. Create beauty – do not wait for others to make it for you. Create health – and be acutely aware of any toxicity you are creating. Either within yourself or within your environments.

Delight in nature and the beauty where you find it. The world is still a beautiful place. Everything is unfolding as it should. Find joy and do not take yourself so seriously. Perhaps hinting towards the full moon of Scorpio (who understands the mystery of death), the Star Beings remind me that everything comes to its natural end [i.e., death] and we do well to embrace the fleeting nature of this world and make our best effort to not grasp.

Commune in meditation with the interplay between your container and your soul. When we consciously commune with our own soul as a precious thing inside the precious vessel of our own body it is like this whole realm can breathe. This alone has value for the cosmos. This consciousness of one’s own spiritual nature inside a material body elevates something positive. A practice during this new Moon can be expressing gratitude for your own body and listening to its needs with more curiosity than usual.

Another meditation is to drink in the vitality that streams from this being for the benefit of your physical form. This simply entails sitting in sacred space, and becoming aware of the light that surrounds you – the physical light. Even if you’re out of the direct Sun or a sunbeam, still light surrounds you. Become aware of the vitality that streams to you from this light from all directions; you’re at the center of a sphere a vital life force! Receive. Do this as often as you like 😉
