I’ve included the notes below if you’d prefer to read or for referencing the information later!
For 2018, I’m leaving the notes even more “raw”, to offer more insight into how these images come to me.
What you read below is a lightly edited version of the exact visioning! Enjoy!!

I’d love to hear what you think of this shift in the notes!

I step through into my place of consciousness ready and I have a picnic basket of food provisions and a cheerful Baba Yaga; we walk arm in arm down into my place of consciousness.  We are eating apples, a harvest of the season. the light is bright but short…rosey, orange, blue, and the light low in the west. We wear kerchiefs on our heads and strong rustic work clothing recognizing the harvest of this year or rather recognizing that we have come to a place of rest and assessment for we are through the final harvest past Samhain almost a month now.

And we gather at table with family in this country to celebrate Thanksgiving: ostensibly the time of gratitude, of abundance, it is a good time under the bright light of this moon to ask, “what has this year brought me thus far?”
In other words, since the last winter’s deep sleep and springs awakening and intention setting time … then through the warmth and growth of summer, “where do I find myself, spiritually, emotionally, physically?”

Rather then some assessment against success, smiley faces and achievements, this is a deeper Scorpionic question that asks each of us to consider how the global challenges and revelations are impacting our soul’s work. That is to say, what are these challenging times drawing forth from you? Where has your shadow self become more visible? What do you know about yourself that you didn’t yet know last year?

We do not ask these questions to shame you or judge you. Indeed, to see the shadow more clearly is to understand the healing. To know more about the type of fears you embody is to know more about the medicine that heals you and therefore all of humanity.

This picnic basket is filled with food: good quality simple food and we are lucky if we can eat to fullness. How our ancestors would delight in the luxury we have! But also how the ancestors would be so confused by the overwhelming amounts of foods that lack vitality and indeed are filled with substances that harm the body. This basket is here in this full moon to shed light upon the basics that sustain us: food, water, quietude & rest, and the love of others and for others.

Reflect upon the lessons and teachings of this year. What has changed in you? What medicines in the shape of foods, activities, new habits and actual medicines (homeopathy acupuncture yoga etc.) What medicines have been healing you? Take stock, take notice so that you may deepen into your self-care as we spiral down into the winter solstice.

There is more transformation ahead but there is much good work already put to bed in 2018. Assess. Acknowledge your gains. Honor your losses. Examine your rainclouds for their silver lining from which to weave your wings, your parachute for the remainder of the coming season.

Jupiter and Sun together bring bright light for this kind of self-awareness partnered with optimism which also helps when looking at the bedsores, the failures, your mistakes within the larger messes being perpetuated nationally and globally.

Venus at Spica: take time to make offerings to the regenerating properties of the planet that continues to feed us and continues to sustain the magic and miracle of seeds put in the ground turning into food. Give thanks for this miracle, make offerings to the Divine mother who still generously sustains us.

Mercury retrograde at the heart of the Scorpion supports and deepens our work in reviewing what is passing away from us, within our personalities and from this earth. Bringing a renewed clarity to what is versus what we would like it to be. While this clarity can be bracing, it nonetheless makes us better prepared and better community members holding the nodes of light in the web of life that is the life force of this planet; one such place in a much larger web of life that extends out through the stars and beyond our comprehension.

Coming back to the self with in the trials and tribulations of your unique life, Celebrate your victories over personal shadow. Have compassion for the shadow revealed. Recommit to the medicines that heal you and make you stronger to hold your place in the web of light and the life. Aho.
