May 4th New Moon ~ Unfurl & Connect!

My dear friends, due to unforeseen technical problems (laptop meltdown) I am unable to present you with a video! But Do Not Fear! We still have the Wisdom of the Stars below; old school, you-gotta-read-it style 😉
My sincerest apologies for this CHANGE to our rhythms, but I hope you will:
1. notice the absolute alignment with what was given forth in the last Full Moon in Aries. Refresh yourself HERE
2. join me in simply relaxing our personal WILL (what we want) into that which IS (what Spirit wants!)
3. enjoy what has been given – use the power of your own imagination to SEE what I describe. Take your time; read it twice or more!
4. know that I miss being able to inflect and infuse with my voice and color, but you can always reach out to me and I’ll read it to you aloud! Bedtime Star Stories, anyone? 😀
I hope to be resuming our regularly scheduled programming for the coming Full Moon in {Sidereal} Taurus. In the meanwhile, the below is no small thing! Can’t wait to hear what you think!
The Lunar Lowdown – a few notes
While not a transcript of our current video by any means,
I’ve included the notes below if you’d prefer to read or for referencing the information later!
Actual Time of Celestial Event: Saturday May 4th, 2019 @ 4:44 pm MDT
Sun’s position: 19 degrees Aries (The Ram)
Moon’s position: 19 degrees Aries (The Ram)
As I dwell within the New Moon darkness of this constellation Aries, I nestle down into this Being. And I find myself walking with four-legged little beings… Rams upon high mountains within the pink and orange glow of sunrise. The animals are very interested in the fresh green grass and nibble at these first signs of spring’s nourishment. But they do not completely stop but only pause here and there, eating a mouthfull of grass and then take more steps, steadily continuing on a journey through these mountains… to what goal I do not know.
As I struggle with this not knowing, worrying I’m “not getting it right”, a beautiful guide appears before me… lifting my chin away from my chest, stopping me from curling inwards in failure and despair! As I connect with this being of great potency, I feel how our hearts connect – weaving a line that I can -and must- cling too.
Doing this, I can feel more of the aches and pains of my heart as it experiences the World now. This phrase “the World” is meant individually; the World each of us chooses to know about, near and far. This includes also “that World” which intrudes upon us whether we went looking for it or not!
Yet I’m shown how in this willingness to feel what IS, we are strengthened in connection to the Rod of Uprightness and the themes of which I spoke at the last full moon in Aries. We do the right thing to allow our heart to be pierced by these times. The Stars say, in this way we are magically anointed or alchemically stirred to be of more use to the forces of good to which we are each personally aligned. (They add, “If you were not with us aligned, you would not be reading this.”)
We each may never know in what way this being “of more use” will have inspired and moved us but that is not the important part. The important part is to stay open and operate in the darkness of this New Moon.
Perhaps you are afraid; it is ok to be afraid. Perhaps you are sad; it is ok to be sad. Perhaps you are angry; it is ok to be angry… but rather than turning inward upon these feelings and rolling them around in our mouths like an everlasting gobstopper, we need to unfurl like the small shoot that comes out of each seed.
Out of the fetal spiral, the birthing seeds reach up to the light, stretching & expanding in a line like the Rod of Uprightness. And of course, like all real physical things, they are not exactly straight like a ruler; there are bends and twists but in essence, they reach up towards the light.
For each of us, this is the Light of the Spiritual Forces that unfailingly arrive when we tuck our chin and start to roll up into a ball, claiming it is all too much. And yes friends, in many ways it IS too much.
But also simultaneously along with the “too much” there are the ones you know: your angels, your guides… or perhaps energies you feel but cannot describe… or that you see but do not name… THESE are the ones to turn your face and heart upon as you are pierced by the World around you.
This New Moon in Aries, lift your chin & weave your heart to theirs. Sit in this gesture, this shape of unfolding sprout and participate in the unfolding of this great astrological year! Aho!
You always expand my own meditative nudges Sally! It really is a hoot this lifting one’s chin and seeing: thankyou & your guides especially for this particular episode. For who can watch screens and lift one’s chin?! Takes abit of courage to pay attention.
Although your videos are always so charming and uplifting to watch: still, in-person is ever so much more. Please let me know when you are in Boulder and could do a reading – I am away probably after May 11 for a month or so.
Love you!
Thank you Sally for your inspirational writing and words of courage and hope! Your words are poetry for the soul and sustenance for our minds and hearts. 🙂
Sally, what sweet write-up. Yes, the more we bury our heads in our chests the less we can see what is out there — and I especially liked that you said the important part is that we stay open and aware and operate in the darkness of the new moon, not that we have an unfailing knowing of how we will be “of more use.” We don’t have to know everything – just trust. And step up and out, like that new plant.
Sometimes knowing that I don’t have to know keeps me going.
Thank you!
Oh, I love this Marella! You’ve reiterated the Star’s wisdom nicely in a way that illuminates it for me too. Trust! and “knowing that I don’t have to know…” – what peace can come of that!! gratitude to you – sally
