The Lunar Lowdown – a few notes
While not a transcript of our current video by any means,
I’ve included the notes below if you’d prefer to read or for referencing the information later!
Actual Time of Celestial Event: Sunday October 13th, 2019 @ 3:07 pm MDT
Sun’s position: 25 degrees Virgo (The VirginMother)
Moon’s position: 25 degrees Pisces (The Fishes)
BONUS planets: Pluto at 26 d Sagittarius and Saturn at 20 d Sagittarius
I ride upon a huge white and yellow flower on a fast flowing river and the water opens out into the moon – white, blinding in its reflection, rising up upon the waterway upon which I float. This immense moon shines light of reflection upon me and I see where I can do better. Where I can improve and become a better version of myself, a better vessel or mirror through which, upon which divinity can shine.
Are we divine wisdom or childish humanity? Are we willing to see our own personal shadow in a compassionate constructive way versus using our precious attention to criticize all the mistakes being made around us? Pluto and Saturn are so near one another – we’re essentailly already there at the January conjunction! We all are on this ride together and we owe it to ourselves and one another and the earth upon which we rely, to follow through now with the improvements, dedications and behaviors that make us better people.
I’m not talking about recycling, I’m not talking about not using single use plastics (even though those are wonderful.) I’m not talking about being a better person in a ecological sense that will save the planet…. I’m talking about the quiet small moments of kindness rather than criticism. I’m indicating places of allowing an ungracious driver to cut you off without name calling or a rise in your anger. I’m talking about tending your body with the foods and media consumption that make it a suitable, strong vessel for the divinity of your choice.
Certainly we remain human; we remain flawed, we continue to make personal mistakes. And we continue to stand firm in the face of actions and behaviors in our vicinity that are unkind, uncivil, unworthy of upright human beings.
In other words: we strive to be the nourishment that the world needs now and we do this by connecting to the nourishment that we need now! We access the nourishment that surrounds each of us in the form of our guardian angels, our inner Contacts, our environment (both work and at home), our relationships with friends and family and the foods we eat and the rest we take, the books we read, the media we watch. AND the ever-present field of life force that surrounds us always!
Find nourishment. Identify toxicity. Refrain from ingesting toxicity. Practice what people sometimes call spiritual aikido; letting toxicity negativity move around you, over you, past you, doing your best to not grasp it, hang onto it or let it come into you.
In a word, I would call this full moon the practice of Chi Gong. Which I would describe in my limited understanding as the practice of drawing life force directly from the field of energy that surrounds us each moment.
May this moon remind you of stillness… deep roots… drawing in what you need from the ever present field of energy that surrounds you now!
