Tending the Vessel of your Soul ~ New Moon of June 10th

The Lunar Lowdown – a few notes

While not a transcript of our current video by any means,
I’ve included the notes below if you’d prefer to read or for referencing the information later!

Actual Time of Celestial Event: Thursday June 10th, 2021 @ 5:53 am MDT
Sun’s position:           25 degrees Taurus (The Bull)
Moon’s position:        25 degrees Taurus (The Bull)

When I ask the Stars for what serves you now, my attention is drawn to my body and the sensation of roots that go down into the earth beneath me. My first impressions involved stillness – here, in Taurus, we are near to the Godhead, near to the mystery of the threshold of incarnation, where we receive the gift of self-reference.  As such, we are forming, we are delicate, We are beginning and to be still permits sacred forces to work upon us.

Within the darkness of a new Moon we reattune to our souls’ promise and purpose.

So, find a “sensational” and concentrated awareness of your own body, the physical vessel into which your soul has been poured. We gain in soul’s expression when our physical frame is tended.

We can (and should) tend our body with good food, plenty of sleep, exercise etc. But to simply turn our awareness, our attention to our physical body brings nourishment that is good. You probably already have techniques for this: stillness ala RJ Steart nd Anastacia Nutt (withdrawing from time, space and movement), noticing the breath through mindfulness meditation practice or scanning the body from top to bottom such as the vypassana technique that moves in careful sequence upon the surface of the body (that I gratefully learned at a retreat almost 20 years ago…)

Moving your awareness all around the body, the physical body, brings the most precious commodity of consciousness and attention to this beloved container for your life, this vehicle for your soul.

And you know it’s very easy for me to disparage what comes; that this is too simplistic and I will be laughed out of existence by those of you who watch. But I choose to side step this lie, this product of my mind, this thought and come back to the real benefits I feel: peace, steadiness, solidity, strength.

Again I say, Taurus is a constellation near to the Godhead, near to the mystery of the threshold of incarnation. As such, the Bull is extremely awake and attentive to sensations, flavors, textures… essentially embodiment! And the Stars say that, yes we can be present to our bodies in movement, this can be experienced through exercise etc. but to be still while sensing your own physical form carefully & considerately brings a benefit to this miraculous weaving of body and soul.

Take the time this moon cycle to be still and vibrantly alive.

As I take time to do this … with my eyes closed, I feel the richness of my own skin … and I sense vibrantly the sea of energy coursing through my limbs. And when I gently open my eyes within this cultivated awareness state and turn my head to look at my surroundings, I feel incredibly in my body – profoundly aware.  Gently moving my hands and arms, gently enough to retain this state, I feel invigorated similarly to when I complete a yoga class! Try this for yourself and see!

We still dwell within the gratitude of the Full Moon of Taurus and Scorpio, from just two weeks ago. Be grateful for your body even within its inevitable frailty.

Gift it with your awareness this moon.
